The extension reads Airbnb listing prices and dates from the current page to provide pricing suggestions. This data is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.
The minimal anonymous usage data we collect is stored securely and automatically deleted after 12 months. User preferences and settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API.
BargainBnB requests the following Chrome permissions:
Required to read listing prices and dates, and to add the BargainBnB icon to Airbnb pages.

Allows the extension to interact with the current Airbnb tab when you click the BargainBnB icon.
We use anonymous usage data to:
BargainBnB works by reading publicly available information from Airbnb listing pages (prices, dates) and helping you craft messages through Airbnb's existing messaging system. We don't store or process any of your Airbnb data - all negotiations happen directly through Airbnb's platform.
We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how users interact with our website (not the extension). This helps us improve our landing page and support materials. No personal information is collected through analytics.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy or want to exercise your rights, please contact us at admin@discountedbnb.com
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we'll post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we'll notify users through the extension or our website. Continued use of BargainBnB after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Anonymous usage statistics are automatically deleted after 12 months. Local settings and preferences stored in your browser remain until you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data. We do not retain any personal information as we do not collect it in the first place.
We're committed to transparency. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, please don't hesitate to reach out.
